MEDIA & PRESS OFFICE - Please read carefully
How do I get a Press Pass?
All press and media (freelance or otherwise) must pre-register to qualify for press accreditation. Please contact at least two weeks before the event for more information on a press pass.
Can I film the Festival?
Because of the special and sensitive nature of the event some people may wish to attend incognito and attend in complete privacy. Remember that visitors from certain countries may be persecuted as a result of attending such an event. Please respect that privacy and DO NOT take mobile phone or camcorder footage.
Anyone taking mobile or camcorder footage will be asked for a press pass. No pass : no film.
Can I arrange interviews with contributors attending the Festival ?
We will do everything we can to facilitate this but are mindful to protect the rights and interests of our contributors, so please notify us with no less than two weeks prior notice of your intentions. If we can – we will.
During the Festival?
Absolutely -provided that the interview is commissioned and agreed by the interviewee. We will arrange the best access possible. Again give at least two weeks notice please.
Can I obtain recordings of events?
Many events will be available on our festival website within a few days of their taking place. If you want a feed from a particular event, and the contributor agrees, we can arrange that with our tech crew. A donation to the festival would be nice gesture.
Access to the festival is of course available for approved crews with prior consent of the Press Office.
